Tri-Colored Heron-Twins

Tri-Colored Heron-Twins, originally uploaded by QuakerVille.

Over the years I’ve taken a lot of pictures of everything from wildlife to family events, weddings, portraits, and scenery. Most of the time the pictures stand on their own and are presented on web sites, prints in frames, collages, enlarged prints in exotic frames, videos, or several other media types. Again, mostly standing alone or with the character of the frame and mat that surrounds it.
Recently I decided to add a couple layers to some of my photos, I”ve added some texture, presentation depth and a little explanation about the subject.
Dubbed “Presentation Panels”, for lack of anything more creative,
I’ve been experimenting with their size, layout, content and textures and have had the most feedback on this particular size and shape.
If you have a comment about your impression of this presentation style please let me know what you think. If you have examples of your style please let me see some examples too. I have some more in a slide show on Flickr.
