Portrait of an Ibis

Ibis, originally uploaded by QuakerVille.

Ibis are plentiful in Florida and I am very lucky to have them all around me to photograph. This portrait is really shows off their blue eyes and characteristic beak. They use this long thin beak to eat grubs, worms, termites, and all kinds of insects from on top and under the surface of the ground.
